I am a Bilingual (English & Spanish) solution-focused counselor dedicated to helping individuals achieve lifetime goals. With compassion and practical feedback, I incorporate conventional and alternative approaches helping clients overcome life challenges as well as long-standing patterns.

Counseling & Psychological Consulting (C&PC) is a private practice located in Kennesaw Georgia. We provide professional counseling/psychotherapy to individuals, families, and couples. We offer classes for men and women who are court-ordered or voluntarily attend family violence intervention program or alcohol and substance abuse counseling. In addition to these services, we have mental health consultation services, new counselor consultation, and video counseling. Services are provided in the most integrated setting possible, through the application of counseling, consultation, and educational theories.

My goal is to help individual, couples, and families process through their emotions in order to make sense of their world and to lead more productive and fulfilling lives. I have convenient evening and weekend hours available.

I help rebuild and reunify individuals and families by teaching coping skills and better communication skills to children ages 3-18, adults, and families. I use different therapeutic interventions to meet the needs of my clients and achieve results. I help children and adults learn how to understand, control, and share their emotions appropriately, and make better choices.

I divide my time between trauma therapy and marriage and family therapy. My practice offers individual therapy, couples counseling, mediation, diagnostic and forensic evaluations, and coparenting services. In individual therapy, I tend to work with clients on improving symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress, family issues, and PTSD.

Andrea has over 40 years of professional counseling experience in Clinical Psychology & other disciplines. She served as an elected Board of Education member in the 1980's. She served to bring the State of Georgia into the international arena to certify Addiction Counseling as a recognized profession. Andrea provides individual therapy with adults of all ages. Her specialties include helping clients establish healthy relationships, address issues of codependency, the work of overcoming grief, family-of-origin issues, navigating mid & late life transitions, crisis counseling, PTSD & transgenerational trauma, depression, and anxiety.
