As a therapist, I am passionate about facilitating change with my clients by providing psychoeducation on psychological and emotional issues and a safe space for them to explore and understand their challenges.

I am passionate about helping clients grow and heal by gaining insight, developing self-compassion, and utilizing the tools necessary to reach their full potential. I am particularly interested in the treatment of complex trauma, interpersonal and attachment difficulties, and race/cultural identity. Moreover, I have experience in developing and conducting psychoeducational workshops and trainings. I am is dedicated to providing comprehensive and personalized care to all my patients.

I have conducted numerous neuropsychological assessments both in hospitals and private practice, psychodiagnostic assessments, and psychotherapy. These experiences allowed me to work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and couples, addressing a wide range of psychological and emotional issues.

It is my belief that psychotherapy will provide you with an opportunity to be heard, to solve problems and to build upon your strengths to promote healthy change. My clinical focus includes: trauma, grief/loss, anxiety, couple/family crises and attachment issues. While exploring these difficult situations with you, I use my clinical experience to assist without judgement or shame. I provide an environment of empathy, empowerment and humor (when appropriate) for individuals, couples and families.

Tonya M. Logan, LICSW, LCSW-C, has over 30 years of professional clinical experience working with those managing conflict and trauma. A native Washingtonian, she received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Virginia and her master’s degree in social work from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Ms. Logan spent the bulk of her career, in D.C. and Maryland, working with biological and foster parents by securing permanency via reunification, adoption, or independent living.

I’m thrilled to be a part of your journey toward better mental health! My goal is to help client's bring meaning to their day-to-day lives while also providing therapy that is based on exploring client insights and their emotional world. I help clients diminish bothersome thoughts and behaviors and promote self-awareness. I guide my client's to live authentically and recognize their own value by providing strategies and guidance in a compassionate, nonjudgmental space for clients to speak their truth and be understood.

Jodie is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who has been practicing in a private practice setting for several years. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Towson University and her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. She also served 6 years in the United States Navy which included a year-long deployment overseas. In counseling, Jodie believes that congruency of the mind, body, and soul is the key to contentment. Therefore, she helps facilitate growth and healing for her clients, not only mentally and emotionally, but also physically, socially, and spiritually.

The current times have led to an increase in people seeking counseling for anxiety, depression, adjustment and a host of other reasons. I'm ready to join with you as your partner in wellness and healing. It's important for you to feel comfortable so I offer free consultations to new clients.
