I have served in the helping professions for several years and has had the opportunity to work with a multitude of populations. I completed my first degree in Industrial and organizational psychology and successfully guided many individual businesses to start existing in their purpose. After completing this Journey, I returned and received my second degree in Professional counseling and has since worked with teens, Adults and Seniors to address the needs they have related to esteem, goals and their identified purpose.

We all need someone to hear our story, to respect our tears, and to help us be courageous as we walk the path toward healing. I stay present through your pain, hurt, and discovery. Trauma, doubt, and fear can easily consume our thoughts, and provoke emotional distress and a sense of loss. Since 1999, I've predominantly worked with children from ages 4 through 19 and parents. Kids, teens and families are engulfed with various problems and often find themselves struggling to keep "it altogether". These problems affect children, teens & parent's emotions and behaviors. Young people often don't understand their feelings, know how to express them appropriately or feel as if no one is listening. It's not long before arguments, disrespect, low-grades, disobedience, and fights occur, which negatively impacts all involved. Talking to a neutral person helps overcome these obstacles, learn how to cope & grow through life.

My name is Roberto "Robert" Guerrero, I am a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in Texas, and CCTP, National Certified Counselor (NCC) and BC-TMH provider. I have over nine years of experience in the field of mental health and chemical dependency, and currently operate a private counseling practice exclusively online near Dallas, Texas. My clients are looking for a proactive processing coach that prioritizes them feeling safe, heard, & understood to creatively find ways to help them heal/melt generational, childhood and relationship traumas in ways that will free up energy that can be applied towards best life creation! Even just a first session can experientially show what's possible and point to what can be next!

I offer, when appropriate, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy approaches. I take a practical solutions focused approach to behavioral health care and addiction recovery.

There is wisdom in seeking biblical guidance in order to sort through and resolve life's challenges.
