My role in psychotherapy is simple. I work as a guide to help lead clients from 3rd dimensional consciousness to new levels of awareness. With the support of my guiding system and those of my clients', I act as a conduit to bring the information and energies that are needed in that point in time for the client's highest good. My approach is spiritual and energy psychology. It is based on the premise that all illness is mental illness and all healing must begin in psychotherapy.

If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, confused, powerless, helpless to control life issues, a healthy first step toward realizing positive change in your life, is to invest in therapy. By discovering your strengths, gifts, and unique perception, we can begin utilizing these attributes toward effective thoughtful problem solving and decision making behaviors.

I see therapy as a journey between client and counselor. My role is not to take you where you don't want to go but to work with you on the path you want to take. I help facilitate your journey, whether that be self-reflection, healing, growth, or more. My role is to help encourage you and also guide you and point out where you may be stumbling and perhaps see other avenues. I have worked with adults and adolescents across the lifespan with a wide variety of concerns, and I always emphasize that the journey is yours. My role is to work with you and see what path is the best one for you.

I am a Licensed therapist with over 25 years of mental health experience. Much of this experience was gained during my service in the United States Army serving veterans and their families faced with a wide variety of mental health challenges.

Most of us, at one time or another, experience personal problems. Sometimes they affect one's overall performance, sometimes they don't. I am available for those times when situations in life cause personal problems and you need help to get you through them. You don't have to do it alone. I strive to provide a comfortable and trusting environment where you can relax and feel safe. I aim to make therapy a place where you like to go. I know that we are all very unique. I approach each client in a way that is specific to their needs. I am also accepting licensed interns needing supervision.

I'm looking for everyday people who want to change behavior in exchange for stability in their lives and are willing to build on their own strengths/skills to maximize healthy changes. Individuals or couples of all ages, backgrounds, cultures, faiths, acute and chronic disease who are open to share their experience(s) or story to decrease symptoms associated with depression, anxiety, intimate violence, trauma, parenting, school issues, or loss of a loved one.

I believe in a therapeutic process that revolves around life's changes and the journeys it takes us on. Choosing to change your focus is a powerful way of transforming any situation. Focusing on the positive doesn't mean that we are denying reality or avoiding what isn't working. It simply allows us to work from a grounded place in order to make the most informed decision from a less emotional place of clarity. Within our sessions, the goal is to cultivate a trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationship where an individual can bring their full self into session without any fear.
