I’m an eclectic therapist who is committed to delivering the best ‘You’ based therapy we can develop together, utilizing our strengths, as well as theories and techniques along the way that support the changes you desire. Katherine Fields is a licensed clinical therapist and school counselor in the state of Texas. She is an army brat and former navy spouse which have afforded her the opportunity to experience a wide range of cultures, including South, Central America, Italy and Japan. Recently, Katherine traversed to Mexico for eight months to learn more about its rich culture. Living in Texas, she currently accepts new clients; whether student, professional or retired. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help adults both young and seasoned to make sense of the world around them.

My experience as a special education teacher, campus administrator and counselor for almost three decades has provided me the knowledge and skills to work with your child, adolescent, and even adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, addiction or PTSD. Understanding how these challenges ultimately affect behaviors in the classroom, at home, and in the workplace environments, help fuel my passion to connect, learn, and problem solve with my clients and their families on an interpersonal level in an effort to build HOPE.

The Counseling and Assessment Clinic (CAC) is a psychological service training clinic associated with the Department of Educational Psychology at Texas A&M. All providers at the CAC are trained to provide a variety of psychological services while under the supervision of a Licensed Psychologist. We offer both therapy and assessment services for adults, adolescents, and children in English. Fees are established based on an affordable sliding-scale based on family income and size.
