William “Bill” Kelly has been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in both California and Tennessee for over 20 years. Bill has worked with adults, children, and adolescents in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, juvenile halls, and local school systems. While he has helped clients deal with grief/loss, life transitions, depression, and anxiety, Bill has particular interests in Christian counseling (because he’s a Christian) and men’s issues (because he’s a man). Bill completed his Master of Science (MS) in Psychology at California State University, Fullerton.

Our world expects so much from people and we are often able to do it all, for a while. Sometimes expectations, both ours and others, smother us and leave us feeling hopeless. We might not be able to move forward in our career, despite excelling in our work. Sometimes we bury emotions, thinking I’ll get to that later, which may result in feeling overwhelmed or feeling nothing at all. As a clinical counselor and pastor I value creating space for intentional listening to discover and discern how personal uniqueness can find expression within the contours of life. I work collaboratively with individuals, families and adolescents to grow awareness around the stories we tell ourselves. Sometimes these are strong, positively thick stories, and I enjoy celebrating progression with another when this occurs.
