At Within Holistic Counseling, we believe in getting to the root of the problem. Traditional talk therapy has been proven highly effective, so we combine this with meditation based therapy and somatic psychology to make it even better. To create lasting change in your life, you need to understand where your feelings are coming from. We are clinically trained in psychological techniques as well as, having specialized training in mindfulness meditation and the ability to create a holistic framework that will assist you in getting to the root of your patterns to heal and change them. Your work will be tailored individually for you.

Making it easy to discuss difficult topics is my job, and that happens by making sure you know you are in a safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment. Since 1984, Brentwood Counseling Associates has been one of the most trusted group practices in the greater Nashville area. Our seasoned clinicians work with adults and children in individual therapy, as well as couples and families in relationship counseling. We treat depression, anxiety, relationship strain, trauma, career issues, grief/loss, and any other life circumstance that’s getting in the way of happiness or performance. Nathan has a pursued a career of inviting others into safety, healing, and growth through counseling, chaplaincy, and mentoring. My ideal clients are adults (ages 25-38) struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, mild depression, and phase of life changes. My clients are navigating new chapters in their lives, including career changes, dating/marriage relationships, and changing family dynamics. They are motivated for change and open to feedback and alternative perspectives. They are seeking a telehealth-only therapist for added scheduling flexibility, confidentiality, and transportability.

I am a therapist with Ellie Mental Health Center, and I counsel children and adolescents, from ages 6-18, on academic and behavioral matters including, but not limited to, the following: Goal-Setting, Study Skills, Test-Taking Strategies, Organization/Time Management, Non-Violent Conflict Resolution, Respect/Responsibility, Decision-Making, New School Transitions, Self-Esteem Issues, Grief/Bereavement, Stress Management, Anger Management, and College/Career Awareness, Exploration and Planning. I also work with adults of all ages and life stages on a range of issues, including anxiety and depression, eating disorders and PTSD.

I specialize in helping those who struggle with childhood trauma and self-esteem to gain courage and hope for life. My goal is to rebuild your confidence by healing your past. We all experience events in our life that exceed our capacity to effectively cope. During those times we may need the support of a friend, or at times, a professional. **ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS** I work with Adults and teens. I offer a creative, integrative,compassionate approach. I work with adults who are navigating life's everyday challenges and transitions (e.g., Anxiety/Depression, Self-worth, Career issues, Grief, Parenthood, Relationship issues Marriage/ Divorce and much more. I also, offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing therapy) for Adults EMDR is not only used for PTSD but an array of clinical problems that can have positive life changing results. I work with teens to help with self esteem, social anxiety, ADHD, Autism and other concerns.

**Now Accepting New Clients** I see adults and adolescents who typically present with anxiety and/or depression. If I had to name just one specialty, it would be anxiety. Most people suffer some form of it at some point in their lives. When left untreated, it can lead to more severe symptoms and a whole host of diagnoses. I practice primarily Cognitive Behavioral techniques. I will talk to you about your beliefs, expectations, and how you experience the world. I'll teach you to be more accepting of yourself, so you can stop judging and reacting from created stories. I will also help you improve foundational behaviors.

I offer clients wellness services, mental health therapy, and medical and neurological rehabilitation services that use traditional talk therapy as well as music and the creative arts as treatment tools. My goal is to help you, or your child, develop the skills and abilities to feel your best physically, mentally, and emotionally. Sessions may include education around the role of trauma, past experience, and neurochemistry in how we feel and act now, mindfulness exercises, relaxation practices, creativity-based activities, and the development of individualized plans to help practice healthier thought and behavior patterns.

I believe all people have the internal strength to process and work through their struggles. The body knows what to do when we are hurt both physically and with our emotions, but it can be hard to understand. I work to help clients understand our pain and learn to process it into moving forward. I work from a DBT perspective. I have worked with teens, adults and couples of many different cultures and helped them to reach their goals in community and private practice settings. My passion is to help you learn to build the tomorrow you envisioned. Whether those goals be personal, professional, or familial.

Dr. Stephen "David" Hall is the clinic director and co-owner of Haven Counseling Center. Dr. Hall has a particular interest in music, movies, art, and stories in general, and tries to use the theory and craft of story as a way to help the people he works with find new ways to see their lives and possible solutions.

Robert is an Intervention Specialist trained in guiding families through the systemic process whereby a person addicted to alcohol or drugs is encouraged to accept help and enter treatment. Robert has worked in treatment centers and detoxification facilities as a counselor, program developer, educator, director of admission and clinical supervisor. Robert's practice specializes in substance abuse interventions, counseling, DOT/SAP services and community prevention. Robert is certified and licensed as an Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse counselor; Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) ; Prevention Specialist; and Crisis Interventionist.
