Anxiety, Stress, Depression, Relationship/Sexual Issues, Pornography, Anger, Life Changes, Career, LGBTQ+ Issues, and Faith/Spirituality are issues I often address. My approach is practical and nonjudgmental, primarily from Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) and Reality/Choice perspectives. For couples, I'm trained in Gottman Method, the most research-based model for marriage and couples therapy. Office, video, and phone sessions may be options during the COVID pandemic.

Everyone has a necessary journey throughout life and sometimes additional support is needed along the way. My interactions with clients are grounded in compassion, respect, empathy, and an understanding of cultural impacts. I consider the role of a therapist as helping to educate and empower clients so that they develop the insight and skills necessary to overcome their own personal and situational challenges.

Life is complicated. Often the difficulties and stress we face create conflict and struggles that need to be shared with others. I enjoy working with adoptees, adoptive parents, adolescents, and young adults and people in transition.
