I love to work with individuals, couples, and families of all ages. My previous career as a teacher provides me with great understanding of stages of development and how to connect with children and teenagers. I can help your child and you to better understand behavioral changes, self-esteem, difficulty communicating, depression, anxiety, and stress. I have a nonjudgmental way of exploring what children and adolescents are experiencing by using their individual interests, perspectives, and solution-focused goals so that their time in therapy feels natural.

Everyone has times in their life that they need to talk to someone. Throughout my career, I have worked with a broad range of people-children, individuals, and couples. I understand what it is like to be in search of answers. I recognize that anxiety and stress impact families as well as individuals. My life experiences have taught me to look at each client as an individual with their own needs and strengths. I believe that therapy can help us find specific solutions to our problems- whether those struggles are internal, external, personal, or relationally oriented.

My clients want to make changes that improve their quality of lives, careers, and relationships. I focus on couples, addiction, grief, trauma, life transitions, professional burnout, finding purpose, and spirituality. I connect well with mid-career professionals and people who have had that nagging sense of wanting something more. I also work with couples post-treatment from addiction. I see my role as a confidential member of the client's support system, a mirror, and exploration guide.

I specialize in helping clients learn to take control of their anxiety and lives by examining the impact of internal pressure (like unhealthy self-talk) and external triggers (like toxic relationships) and replacing what doesn't work with strategies to feel more empowered. I firmly believe that the way that we speak to ourselves impacts how we handle the pressures we face and let's be honest, we are often our own harshest critics. That is why I use a strengths-based approach to treatment to help clients get rid of hurtful self-talk and learn to embrace their own power!
