I believe identity is a critical part of self-understanding and healing. For this reason, I enjoy working with folks who are looking to explore their identities which might include sexuality, gender, race, religion, physical and mental ability, and roles in society. I am cognizant that our identities shape our personal and lived experiences in the world, and this continually impacts how and what we need to heal. I approach therapy from a non-religious standpoint, but have a deep interest in how religion impacts people, including ways that it can act as a source of trauma, while also acknowledging that it can be a source of support.

I'm currently accepting new clients for in-person and virtual sessions! I believe that the most important part of therapy is the relationship between the client and therapist. My primary objective as your therapist is to cultivate a trusting relationship with you, fostering an environment where you can freely, securely express yourself, especially on sensitive and more challenging topics within your life. I utilize an eclectic approach to meet your needs and encourage the use of your own strengths to help reach your goals and uncover your full potential.

My job is to help people function better so that they can begin feeling better. I start with carefully listening to how my clients make sense of the world, identify problems, generate solutions, and implement choices. The past can influence how we see the present, so it might be important for us to analyze relevant historical context and patterns. However, we certainly will not dwell there. Most people want to be more rooted in the now, while also orienting themselves toward positive future aims. This is ultimately what our work will be about.

I will provide exploration, challenge, encouragement, support, and guidance.

Finding a therapist can be hard, especially when you feel like no one really "gets" you. I'm hoping that's where I come in- I am a queer, autistic therapist passionate about working with other LGBTQIA+ and/or neurodivergent people that may struggle to find the right therapist for them, or who have felt unheard or invalidated by other mental health professionals. Currently, I am offering services to individuals age 12 and older, as well as families, couples, and diverse relationships.

The ideal client is everyone as mental wellness is for everyone. Those who seek a radical approach to empowerment in strengthening their ability to develop boundaries, expectations, values, relationships, authenticity, attachment and healing will become closer to the goal of value based living and healing.

I love working with children and adolesecents, the more problematic and difficult the kids, the better. I enjoy interacting with them in ways that help us get to the core problems, while implementing coping skills into their daily life to decrease the daily struggles they have at home, at school, with their peers, and out in the community. Empowering them to find their values and integrate them into their daily choices. I also enjoy working with women. Empowering, strengthening and uplifting them to live their full potential, while processing major life events and changes that might be hindering their ability to be successful.

I believe we all have the right to our own belief systems but often times sharing those with someone who is a complete stranger can be intimidating. I offer you a safe space to be YOU. I am a spiritual being that is open to embracing dialogue around non-traditional ways of thinking and believing. Because the client-therapist is an important relationship, my goal is to provide a high-quality service to you that includes quick and responsive communication as well as a huge library of resources to give you the tools you need for an action based and humanistic therapy process. I enjoy working with women and couples!

Abuse in the context of a close relationship or a family can create the most pervasive and persistent psych-ache, and may be passed from generation to generation. Whether the source of pain is past trauma, worry about the future, or even current jobs or relationships, I am here to help! I often see clients whose trauma began in domestic abuse in the forms of emotional, psychological, physical, sexual, or financial abuses.
