Debbie Weitz is an Associate Professional Therapist who hails from Marietta, Georgia. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia, and earned both her Master of Science and Specialist in Education degrees from the Florida State University. She also completed a PK-12 Professional School Counseling Post-Graduate Certificate from Mercer University. Throughout her career, Debbie has served as a Mock Interview Mentor, University Career Center Advisor, University Co-Instructor, School Counselor, and Associate Professional Counselor within Private Practice.

My specialty is couples counseling and sex therapy. I also address issues of spiritually and self-esteem. I work with couples around affair recovery, perpetual conflictual interactions, and help couples develop and maintain intimate emotional and sexual relationships. I work with individuals to help them overcome painful childhood experiences and guide them to connect to others in healthy ways. I treat couples and individuals for orgasmic difficulties, disparate and low desire, body image issues, erectile difficulties, delayed ejaculation, premature ejaculation, painful intercourse, and lack of emotional intimacy during sex.

My focus is on supporting clients through life challenges with awareness of the interconnection between mind, body, and spirit. Clients who come to my practice may be facing social stigma, identity, life changes, or health challenges, adjusting to medical treatment that leave them feeling unsupported, anxious, depressed, or spiritually depleted. As a psychotherapist and Art Therapist, I offer evidenced-based approaches, including Mindfulness, Art Therapy, Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT).

I offer EMDR/IFS intensives, walk & talk sessions, and trauma-informed yoga!
