From a very young age, I have known that I wanted to work in a helping profession. While I’ve dabbled in various business industries in my professional career, my focus has always been on the human aspect with a wholistic perspective. I have worked with a diverse group of clients ranging from ages 10 to 69 experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, mood dysregulation, OCD, ADHD and disordered eating.

Rather than trying to push away your troubling thoughts, an effort that does not usually work, I help you change your relationship with those thoughts, to lessen their power and control over your daily life.

Dr. Walters earned a Ph.D. in Psychology from The University of Northern Colorado and a Masters degree from the University of Alabama. During her education Dr. Walters completed a variety of training experiences including working in a drug rehabilitation center, public schools, the University Mental Health Clinic where she provided counseling to families, couples, individuals, and children. Dr. Walters also worked in the Neuropyschology Clinic providing neuropsychological assessment.
