Insights Counseling Group, is a non profit staffed with therapists and interns who have life experience and know first hand that losses occur from transitions like divorce, adoption, childbirth, career loss, & retirement. Many times these losses are compounded over time building compounded trauma. Insights offers EMDR, creative expression, & psychotherapy to help you normalize uncomfortable feelings and cope with changes and to further integrate trauma. Life often feels like a roller coaster. Our story is full of ups, downs and surprising turns. Maybe we lose our job or spouse, or face a major life transition. A child may move to a new school, have parents separate. Sometimes we experience a traumatic event. These things impact us, they shape our story. But we get to set the pace and the direction of where our story will go. NOW ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS. I specialize in working with Individuals, Couples , and Teenagers. I believe we all have our personal journey that leads to being at peace in our lives. I offer a warm, open, and straightforward approach to my clients. Therapy is an exceptional way to become unstuck, get back on track and begin moving forward again. I strongly believe that counseling can be a positive experience. One that helps you build momentum with each session on the way to reaching your goals. Evening and Saturday appointments are available. I try and return all calls within 24 hours and I usually respond within a couple of hours.

I love collaborating with my clients in creating and sustaining the changes they wish to make and surprising them with how quickly and deeply these changes can take place. I have extensive experience with chronic illness, chronic pain, physical and emotional trauma, spirituality, parenting issues, grief and dying, and men's sexuality.

Life is complex and requires continual adaptation. I am passionate about helping people find a pathway through difficult times by validating their experiences, identifying unhelpful patterns, finding new solutions, and working towards healing. Healing is a process that requires feeling safe in a caring, non-judgmental environment. Each person has their own story to make sense of, and befriend. I am here to provide a down to earth approach and trusting space for you to expand your awareness, coping skills, problem solving, and distress tolerance. Being heard and feeling understood can help in all our other relationships.
