Hello and Welcome! My practice revolves around the healthy development and emotional well being of individuals and our meaningful relationships. Since our primary relationships are with our caregivers; I specialize in joining with adults who seek guidance with parenting. With my support and specific strategies to promote children's behavioral health and early development, families can self correct and stay on course while living more effectively, joyfully and meaningfully. I understand how easily we can get off track and our work in therapy will begin wherever you are right now, no matter what your childs' age.
In working with adolescents and adults, I use a variety of therapeutic approaches such as: Attachment, Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral and EMDR techniques for support with identified goals. You will learn skills to help with symptom reduction for: anxiety, anger and depression in response to stress or traumatic events.
My experience of more than 23 years has included work in both the private and public sectors. For a period of nine years I supported other professionals while supervising clinical hours for graduate students and interns. Additionally, I have facilitated therapeutic groups and parenting classes.
