My life purpose is to break generational curses and make mental health a household conversation. Being a woman of color, mental health has not always been an assessable conversation. In the black community, we are always told to be strong, get over things quickly, and keep looking forward. Unfortunately, that meant we spent years overlooking normal human emotions that caused us to develop bad and unhealthy habits and relationships as an adult. Mark is a skilled therapist with over twenty years of experience counseling diverse people in various settings. From treating chronically mentally ill adults and conduct-disordered youth to counseling broken families and school-anxious teens, Mark has learned extensive treatments in the field. I work primarily with adolescents (ages 10-25), marriages, and men's issues. I currently supervise a team of therapists through Unbroken Family Counseling. I work within this team and, when necessary, work with schools, psychiatrists, and other community resources to help my clients.
