During my years in the counseling field I've worked with depression, anxiety, adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, trauma, self-harm, addictions, dissociative disorders, men's and women's issues, codepedency, communication, infidelity, grief and loss, boundaries, divorce, parenting, marital problems, eating disorders, life transitions, adjustment difficulties, and many other issues.
Because I've worked with a variety of issues and disorders in diverse settings that include private practice and residential, and have my own recovery story, I'm better able to understand my clients' struggles and provide a uniquely tailored, personal experience for each one.
I believe in a holistic approach to counseling, recognizing that the body, soul, and spirit are intricately entwined. One of my personal goals is to empower the clients with whom I work to make decisions that will hep them grow emotionally, psychologically, relationally, and spiritually.
