Gulf Wind Counseling was founded with a vision of providing high-quality psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults regardless of socio-economic background. I am intuitively skilled at successfully cutting through confusing dynamics and reactivity to identify core issues that haven't been resolved through other therapies.

Tia Battey, Ed.S is the owner of Collaborative Efforts Youth and Family Services. She is a Licensed and Certified School Psychologist who specializes in giftedness, dyslexia, achievement, behavioral and college (ADA) accommodations assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. Ms. Battey is a certified Youth Mental Health First Aid Trainer. This program is designed to help parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, health and human service workers identify and respond to adolescents (age 12-18) who are exhibiting signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges.
