Hello. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 18 years of experience in mental health. My career began after receiving my bachelors in psychology from TCNJ in 2005. I started as a case manager at a community mental health facility and then decided to pursue my masters.

You often feel misunderstood, ignored, even silenced, and this prevents you from asking for what you want...for what you deserve. And, every time you think you are ready to say how you feel or ask for what you want, you realize you are just too exhausted and would rather keep your feelings to yourself to avoid conflict. Deep down you know that you are struggling with your confidence (although you may not show it on the outside). You find yourself in a cycle of unhealthy relationships but you can’t find the motivation or the courage to break the cycle. It’s time to break the cycle and speak up.

I am licensed in New Jersey with 30 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, depression, addiction, coping with grief and loss, motivation, self-esteem and confidence and career difficulties.

I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in the state of New Jersey, and a national certified counselor (NCC). In addition, I am an advanced Nurtured Heart Approach® trainer. While working with children and their families, I utilize the Nurtured Heart Approach® as a vehicle to cultivate strong, healthy, positive relationships between children and their caregivers.

Communication between you and your teen is tense or non-existent. My goal in therapy is to help your teen identify their emotions and develop coping strategies to improve their emotional-well being.
