I am a NYS licensed Mental Health Counselor. I specialize in treating clients with borderline personality disorder, depression and anxiety disorders. My research interests focus on adolescents exhibiting cutting behavior as well as mindfulness meditation. I have presented at local and state conferences and have conducted several clinical trainings related to anxiety, autism, and developmental disabilities at surrounding regional agencies.

My ideal client is one who is motivated to change. I deal with school related issues, family issues, individual issues and marital issues. My goal is to get clients to understand the consequences of their behavior and to learn how to communicate their thoughts and feelings appropriately. I try to get them to develop insight into their behaviors along with being able to develop skills to work on stressors when they are not in the therapy sessions. I deal with mood disorders including depression, anxiety disorders and anger management issues.
