Greetings, my name is Dr. Allena M. Moncrief and I have been providing therapeutic services to clients in Pennsylvania since 2010. I obtained my PhD from Drexel University in the field of Couple and Family Therapy in 2017. As a psychotherapist, I understand the decision to enter psychotherapy can be extremely challenging for some individuals. Thus, I strive to meet individuals where they are in the therapeutic process. This process involves helping individuals explore the root of their difficulties/roadblocks and assisting them with creating a roadmap that will lead to a more fulfilling and enjoyable life.

As a holistic psychologist and interfaith minister, I understand clients' situations in the context of mind, body and spirit. I provide psychotherapy to individuals in a relaxed and respectful atmosphere. My clients have healed from depression, anxiety, trauma, life changes, divorce, parenting challenges, grief, and stress. I accept most major insurances but if you do not have insurance, or an insurance plan I do not participate in, I have a sliding fee scale and we can make something work for you.

I enjoy combining the Mind Body Soul connection in therapy to create balance in all areas. We often focus on our thoughts and actions and forget about our body and spiritual components. Being able to integrate all aspects of ourselves leads to greater healing especially if we have experienced trauma. Reconnection to the body is an important part of healing and learning to listen to what is is telling us. Spirituality is one aspect of therapy I enjoy most and helping others find their spiritual center along with aiding those who feel "highly sensitive" (empathic) in being able to function and thrive.
