I am a multicultural individual who sees each person's struggle. I invite you to reach out if you are searching for a therapist who can understand your cultural background and looking for a warm and nonjudgmental environment. I am a therapist trained in trauma-informed care, so I focus heavily on strength-building and reframing the story that each person has experienced. Additionally, I have a background in the creative arts, so my creativity often helps in an experiential lens to ensure each person has a treatment tailored to them.
My ideal client is a teen, adult, or couple who is in need of communication work, reframing and refocusing thoughts, or in need of assistance with anxiety. I enjoy working with individuals who are motivated on their journey to healthier mental practices and those seeking assistance.
My communication style is what I like to call warm but direct. Therapy can be hard enough on a client and so to make it feel more comfortable, I try to word things to make it feel like talking to a friend. That being said, while I use a lot of metaphors or colloquialisms, I am a direct communicator and often push the client to answer their own questions.
