I passionately believe in the power of therapy to serve as a catalyst for people to build insight, to build sense of self, and to empower themselves in their lives. I believe that healing happens in the context of supportive relationships, and therapy provides an opportunity for this. It is within the context of a safe therapy space that people can face and respond to the difficult and challenging issues that have resulted in distress. I offer a nonjudgmental, supportive counseling environment and encourage people to treat themselves with empathy and kindness.
Therapy is a means of creating a nurturing space to do the work of bringing about healing. Compassion and authentic feedback are the cornerstones of my style as a therapist. I help people discover and develop the tools to bring about change and cultivate the opportunity for healing and growth.
Everyone goes through challenging situations in life and it takes courage to reach out and ask for support. Making the decision to initiate therapy is a brave step. Together, we can find a path to draw on your strengths for greater self-discovery, well-being, and fulfillment.
