I recognize how people looking to improve their mental health often carry with them fears of unworthiness, imagined brokenness, and perceived failures of will, so I work to create a therapeutic environment free from stigma and judgment in which the people I serve have space to cultivate self-awareness, learn, and grow.
I specialize in working with individuals struggling with sexual and addiction issues and their partners as well as the concerns which commonly coincide - trauma, PTSD, grief, loss, anxiety, depression, conflict, relationships, and culture/gender issues. I approach mental wellness from a whole-person perspective and collaborate with my clients to maximize tools for healing.
I am board certified in neurofeedback and HRV biofeedback, and I see these modalities as a "fast-forward" button for counseling -- a way to integrate body and mind for holistic health. In my practice, I bring my understanding of biofeedback, neuroscience, and mindfulness together to help clients connect with their experiences and find self-regulation.
