I am Dr. Joyce Cordosi, a Clinical Psychologist based in Sacramento, California and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adults and adolescents to effectively manage anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, and life stage transitions related issues. I also specialized in culturally sensitive approaches to mental health assessment and treatment.

I enjoy working with teens and adults who is looking for relief from trauma, anxiety, depression, and grief. Many of these stressors can lead to a crisis, substance abuse, and thoughts of suicide. Wanting to find relief from these struggles can be daunting, yet it is possible. I believe that each individual needs to be considered as a whole and the therapy process should be tailored to their individual needs and personal circumstances.

My clinical interests include anxiety, grief and loss, academic distress, relationship issues, depression, diversity, multiculturalism, and social justice. While I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, the diversity of my training allowed me to cater my interventions to meet the unique needs of my clients. Are relationships and unresolved issues growing more difficult for you or someone dear to you? I have worked with children & adolescents in various settings--particularly in helping children adjust to family complications. As well as with adolescents and young adults in dealing with self-esteem and relationship challenges. Having trained at the University of California Davis Medical Center, and California State University Sacramento, I have successfully helped a number of people work through painful life events and healed from stressful situations, loneliness, and taunting memories of the past.

In addition to my warm and caring style, I also bring other techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness skills to help with shaping thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I have helped others improve coping skills to better manage their anxiety, anger, depression, as well as improving behaviors related to eating disorder.

Mandy Sun is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in California who has been practicing since 2019. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Mandy uses a personcentered, strengthsbased, and collaborative approach to provide a nonjudgmental, safe space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Outside of work, Mandy likes to read fantasy/scifi books, take walks outside in nature, and put together jigsaw puzzles.

Supervised by Markise Morrison LMFT 98455. I am open to seeing any clients that feel that they can benefit from engaging in weekly therapy sessions with me via telehealth. I would encourage that all of the patients that I see to be able to find time in their schedule to commit to 1 session weekly during the start of their treatment plan.
