I enjoy working with adults from all backgrounds and walks of life, providing holistic, client-centered, and trauma-informed counseling that meets folks where they are at. Because of my training and experience with EMDR therapy, I often support clients with healing from traumatic experiences. Some other issues I can help clients address include depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. I may draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities including Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Internal Family Systems.
I’m trained and certified in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International. Some examples of issues that can arise during the process of becoming a parent or growing one’s family include perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, relationship stress, difficulty with isolation or role changes, grief and loss, and birthing trauma.
As a mom of two young children, I am well-acquainted with many aspects of the parenting journey. This is often a uniquely vulnerable time in someone’s life, and accessing needed support can make a huge difference. I look forward to meeting with you and hearing your unique story!
