We all desire to live life with purpose. I enjoy helping people find a deeper connection to their core values and gifts. I have experience treating anxiety, depression, adjustment concerns and racism-based trauma. I have helped many people navigate positive identity development and interpersonal relationship concerns. My therapeutic style is warm, empowering and collaborative. I approach therapy from a strength-based, integrative and multicultural lens. I view it as an honor to walk alongside individuals and bear witness to their experiences and cultivate a supportive and liberated space for them to heal and thrive.
I work with individuals from multicultural backgrounds to help erase the stigma and misconceptions often associated with seeking mental health support via therapy. A desire to process experiences, reduce symptoms and improve functioning is a strength. I build upon this in the therapy process in order to help clients feel a sense of hope and empowerment.
Undoubtedly, there have been some challenges along your journey, and I celebrate you for the courage it takes to seek support. It is okay not to be okay. Therapy can help you to have a better sense of who you are, identify and work towards goals, manage stress more effectively and point to areas of resilience and strength in your life. I am here to help!
