I believe each person, couple, and family has the full capacity to heal no matter the hurdles or the history. We all have a unique story and its my role to help move past shame, trauma, and conflict using a variety of techniques. I work with individuals and families with a focus on addressing the root cause of your distress with a collaborative approach. This may be through a combination of interventions. In today's growing popularity of accessing therapy it's easy to become complacent and dependent on a therapist and lose confidence in your ability to grow, heal, and recover. Therapy should recognize strengths and resilience.
I have over 25 years of experience working in the brain health field including the use of creative arts and drama. In addition to working with individuals I provide HHS and District court involved services. I am a trained Mediator, Co-parent Coordinator, Custody Evaluator, Gottman trained, EMDR, Estrangement & Reunification. Licensed in IA, MO, CO, MN, AR.
Life is challenging with may dynamics to juggle, I work to build a strong connection with clients through in person and virtual therapy. Virtual sessions may be an option once an intake and evaluation are complete. Estrangement, Co-Parenting, and Parent-Child Resist Refuse services require both caregivers participation and some require a focused evaluation.
