My choice to become a therapist is based on my personal experience with therapy as well as my belief that everyone has the potential to uncover and enjoy their authentic selves. I have spent time understanding the construct of identity as it relates to self-acceptance, self- worth, and self-actualization. These themes are not only core to the self, but also integral parts of our interpersonal relationships - partners, children, friends, and communities. Trauma, belief systems, and life experiences create a default mode of operation. Undoing these is a gentle process of vulnerability and self-trust.
It’s my goal to create a safe place for you to show up honestly, with vulnerability, and with the potential for great transformation. I aim to work with clients in a very open, direct, and collaborative manner. You have the unique wisdom required for your success. I use a variety of treatment methods to adapt to the unique client.
I am a first generation Indian American woman who has spent almost half her life traveling and living abroad. I find the privilege of humility in visiting and understanding people and other cultures. I am an athlete, entrepreneur, writer, and public speaker. My work as a therapist is core to my journey as a person.
