About
I have been in the helping field for over 15 years. My background consists of working with anxiety, OCD, bipolar, substance abuse/dependence, crisis intervention, trauma, suicide, and grief. I understand that it’s often difficult to seek help when you have issues, but I am here to reduce your anxieties and provide you with a caring ear. So many times people just need someone to listen and validate what it is that they are feeling. Together we can work on the issues that keep you tied in knots. I also work with couples and families to learn better communication and resolve conflicts, as well as work through deep seated issues.
I provide cognitive behavioral therapy and person centered therapy, as well as utilize other treatment modalities to help you unlearn behaviors and patterns that may no longer work in your life. Therapy can be a scary experience, and I am here to help calm your fears and slowly uncover those things that are stopping you from living a full life.
If you have never tried counseling or are worried about taking those next steps, please reach out to me, and together we can work on putting the pieces of your life back together.
