Hello and Welcome! Clients come to therapy often feeling lost, confused and stuck. Many people want to process work stress, worries, sleep issues, loneliness, health challenges, grief and loss, parent/child dynamics, relationships, guilt and shame, career and life transitions. My work emphasizes mind/body awareness to facilitate healing. I've worked with clients who are completely new to therapy and those who have tried working with different therapists. It's ok and good to get support.
I have a background in medical social work with a particular focus on women's health and infectious disease. I enjoy working with people with a multi-cultural background who have lived and worked overseas. My training is rooted in nervous system responses, mindfulness, thought-feeling-behavior cycles, and interpersonal connections/attachment.
