Hi, my name is Candace, but you can call me Candy, You have taken the first and often hardest step in bettering your life by seeking help! beginning therapy can be scary and people often feel vulnerable when doing this. one of my attributes is to try and make this journey as comfortable as possible for you. I have worked in the mental health field for more than 20 years and have been licensed for 6 years. My vast experience has allowed me to gain knowledge in the many stressors that people may face during their life. .
I have been honored by each person that I’ve worked with as they have allowed me a windows view of their life and the issues each of them had. My thought on counseling is that the person seeking therapy and the therapist are a team and work together as a team to identify goals, find solutions and overcome the issues at hand.
I have a desire to use my empathetic and compassionate nature along with my experience to help people find and utilize services, coping skills and solutions that will assist them in gaining a better quality of life.
