When I was a girl there was no one to tell my deepest darkest secrets. My life's work is to be a trusted, healing person to those in pain. My therapy room is many things: a confessional, a delivery room, a crucible, a place of radical honesty with a whole lot of grace. Using an eclectic and holistic therapeutic framework, I believe there is often more than one path to better emotional health.

You're here for two reasons: 1. Either to work on a persistent challenge or 2. To work through the repercussions of COVID. Either situation presents strong emotion. I will talk with you about both - they're connected - but I will gently (and insistently) remind you of the good things that are or that should be. Fundamentally, psychology twins with philosophy by asking the big questions (Who am I? What do I need? Why is it so? Could it be otherwise?). It carves a different path, however, in that it offers answers. I want to help you fall in love (again? the first time?) with your journey and, by extension, with the human journey.

I work with clients who are addressing such issues as: grief and loss, health concerns that effect one's emotional and mental well-being, life-threatening diseases, addressing end-of-life transition as well as the aging process. I also work with compulsive behaviors, anxiety, depression, separation and divorce, and relationship challenges such as; separation and divorce, communication gaps, and parenting conflicts.

Life comes with joy and pain, love and anger, accomplishments and mess-ups, and sometimes confusion. I work collaboratively with my clients and have great success utilizing techniques from Internal Family Systems (IFS) as well as Narrative and Psychodynamic therapy to treat trauma, anxiety, panic, depression, grief and eating disorders. I come with Christian experience and enjoy helping families explore ways they can incorporate their personal belief systems. My commitment is making space for clients to identify personal and cultural sources of spiritual and natural encouragement to take part in the healing.
