I am a licensed clinical psychologist and founder of the Center for Mind+Body Health. My practice specializes in health psychology or behavioral medicine. This means that I have specific training in helping adults cope and adjust to chronic illness, with particular expertise in working with cancer patients and their family members, and helping individuals make significant health-related behavioral changes to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I also work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, sleep problems, and chronic pain, among other issues.

Including the body in this process is essential, as it carries our pain. This is not always easy, but is certainly self-empowering and life-changing.

I am currently a Supervisee of Social Work with over 21 years of experience working with adults, children and couples. I have a vast knowledge of mental health as it relates to individuals, disadvantaged populations, groups and couples. My specialty also surrounds social work, child protective services, Foster care juvenile justice systems and special education. My Job is My Passion, My Ministry. I too have experienced difficult life situations, trauma and grief. I didn’t start my life with all of these titles. I had to work hard for each one of them.
