These situations can make us feel unsure of our own capacities and emotional strengths which can lead to increased vulnerability, and can cause us to start experiencing high levels of depression and anxiety, or other emotional pain/fears.

Robin Brown, LCSW-C, received her BS in psychology from Towson University and her Master's in Social Work from University of MD, Baltimore in 1995. Robin specializes in using a mindfulness framework to assist clients in finding their strength to flourish while dealing with anxiety, trauma, PTSD, domestic abuse or neurodevelopmental related issues. Drawing from various modalities ranging from cognitive behavioral, to guided imagery and art therapy, Robin works with children and adults to help them find their path to healing in a safe space.

I believe that people benefit from an intergrated, holistic approach, and view my role as shining a light to help them find their way and remember their own light. Whether a person, couple or family come in for issues such as depression, anxiety, gief, chronic illness, ADHD, parenting skills or life prupose, Spirit, Mind, Body Psychotherapy can increase one's self awareness, sense of self empowerment, use of effective tools to assist focus, goal setting and completion, and an overall sense of well being and joy. Space For Grace, LLC, is a humanistic private practice, which specializes in helping others find their purpose in life and assisting them with moving towards and through the healing processes of life, for a fuller quality of life experience. Beginning March 15, 2021, our office will move to a 5-day work week and will be closed on weekends, to allow for more self-care for our staff, during this time of global reflective healing.

I have 41 years of clinical experience initially as a physician and psychiatrist in Brazil, my birth country, and subsequently as a psychotherapist in the United States.

Meghan has extensive experience working in the field of mental health and substance use treatment. Meghan has worked with a variety of issues including: addiction, anxiety, depression, divorce, infidelity, chronic illness, grief, trauma, low self- esteem, life coaching, parenting, and stress. Meghan also works with a nurse practitioner to assist clients with medication management, along with several other therapists in her practice. Meghan understands the importance of utilizing a team approach along with resources as part of the therapeutic process and is very familiar with a variety of support services in the area.

I have a dynamic private practice in MD and VA. Virtual ONLY. The most important component of therapy is listening deeply to my clients. I specialize in ANXIETY issues, including GAD, OCD, specific phobias, panic disorder and social anxiety. Other specialties include healing past hurts, such as codependency and addictions for adults; helping families who are separating/divorcing; and, children/adults who struggle with ADD/ADHD and/or learning disabilities.
