The therapeutic relationship is sacred and I am honored to have so many long-term clients who utilize therapy sessions not only for deeper issues and stresses, but also for continual support. I am a licensed professional counselor in the states of NJ and LA. I have over 10 years of experience and am passionate about helping adults with ADHD, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and cancer. Some of my client focus groups are educators, professionals in the service industry, and those undergoing treatment or in remission from cancer. I utilize a person centered approach, meaning I believe the client has all the tools needed to promote healing and change and that an authentic and compassionate relationship can create a safe space to explore and process that healing and change. Many of my clients come to me feeling stuck, angry, hopeless, and ready for change—which are all normal reactions to the near-constant uncertainty and injustice many are facing everyday. My clients want to experience healing and ease while also learning new ways to cope with societal pressures and generational patterns of behavior. I have treated a variety of mental struggles, from depression and anxiety to bipolar and borderline personality disorder. Our clinicians approach therapy from a holistic systems perspective to assist clients with learning skills to address life challenges. Clinicians at CARE offer a wide range of expertise to assist clients. Our licensed clinicians are marriage and family therapists (LMFT/PLMFT), professional mental health counselors (LPC/PLPC), and Registered Play Therapists. Our CARE for Y'ALL teletherapy program clinicians are marriage & family therapy graduate students from nationally accredited MFT programs.

Since 2009, I have worked with college age and older adults to confront and manage struggles surrounding depression, anxiety, identity confusion, and trauma. We work collaboratively often using dreams and creative projects to gain deeper understanding of the unconscious. All of our work is approached with the presumption that there is an intelligence within that ultimately knows what is best for you, but this wisdom is often concealed by overwhelming emotions, grief, toxic relationships, self-defeating behaviors and thought patterns.

My work is rooted in a holistic, trauma-informed, and intersectional psychodynamic approach that seeks to find harmony between your head, heart, and hand. I work side by side with adults and adolescents seeking healing, balance, and personal growth through empathic and curious interrogation of self. Together we will strive to locate and understand the strategies which have helped you so far, release patterns and cycles that no longer serve you, and build more adaptive pathways of being and relating.

I work with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD or grief from all walks of life. I have 7+ years of experience supporting clients in deepening their understanding of themselves in order to create meaning and change in their lives. During our time together, I will listen carefully and support you in processing pain and joy. We will work together to identify root causes and develop coping skills that work for you. My consulting practice is rooted in soul and informed by science. To possess the psychological mindedness and spirit required to pivot when your plans have been uprooted due to collective or personal events not imagined much less foreseen, is daunting even for the most accomplished of us. In the 90s, at the height of my career, I had to learn how to reorient psychologically and spiritually as well as financially in order to move forward. Since then, my professional experience includes a clinical internship and continued advanced post grad trainings in Freudian and Jungian psychologies including archetypal patterning recognition.

My name is Lindsey Sudduth and I am a psychotherapist who has been in practice for 17 years. My primary focus is working with school/college age students and young/ middle aged professionals who struggle with trying to find balance, meaning and direction in their lives. I help my clients in working through issues within their past that create barriers in their present. We all long for acceptance and a sense of belonging in this world. I provide clients with an understanding of how to create a genuine sense of self and connection to others.

I utilize EMDR and cognitive behavioral therapy as needed. Specialties include, individuals, couples, family therapy and parenting and child/adolescent issues. Gestalt therapists work on helping to reprogram self-sabotaging patterns and belief systems. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I work with adolescents and adults on a variety of issues. I have a special interest in working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and women's issues. By understanding how debilitating these issues can be, I provide an empathic and safe place to begin the counseling process. I enjoy working collaboratively with clients to overcome the symptoms of their issues.

I am a Jungian-informed, credentialed music therapist who has been working in the mental health field for 10 years. I believe that the most effective therapist serves as a guide to help participants connect to their innermost thoughts, feelings, and values. I am interested in empowering participants to discover and understand their unique qualities so that they may lead lives of meaning. I utilize the therapeutic relationship to explore attachment patterns in order to help participants understand their own relational adaptations and needs.
