I work with individuals between the ages of 13-65 on issues related to: Addictions, marital/relationship struggles, anxiety/depression, overcoming fear and shame, living an authentic and purposeful life, embracing vulnerability, military men/women/families and death/dying/grief. I also enjoy working with professionals struggling with Impostor Syndrome and other professional issues. I believe that optimal mental and relational health is first achieved by establishing healthy habits in the areas of nutrition, exercise, mindfulness/prayer/meditation, and social connections.
My goal is that which was identified by May (1983)...to completely experience the client's being--not of his/her symptoms or problems, but of his/her essence as a human being.
I believe the basis of any good therapy experience lies in the quality of the relationship between the therapist and the client. Once that is established, good work can be done.
