I have worked with adolescents, children, and adults in mental health and social work for over 20 years. I have extensive experience helping those who struggle with anxiety, depression, identity development, non-heterosexuality or non-cis gender (LGBTQI+), and ethically non-monogamous (polyamorous) relationships. I also have a history working with people with substance abuse problems and women in transition, as well as those coping with grief and loss. I am a Christian therapist that has been working in the field for over 30 years. I help people learn new ways of thinking and relating and provide tools to overcome depression, anxiety, subtance abuse, sexual addictions, and relational problems.

I specialize in treating men/women from dysfunctional families who have anxiety/depression as a result of their upbringing. Treatment interests include Adult Children of Alcoholics, family dysfunction, anxiety disorders, depression, trauma. I utilize a direct interactive style contingent on the clients' needs. I help clients understand their emotional "blue-print" and create new learning and choices. I work with emotionally distant individuals, building communication skills and a positive sense of self. My experience in social services consists of 20+ years of growth, first as a case manager and Social Svc. Director prior to licensure, then clinical experience as a child and family therapist in community mental health, an LCSW in an small group practice, and now my own practice since February 2016. I have extensive knowledge working with people living with grief/loss, Childhood trauma, Depression, Anxiety/Panic disorders, PTSD, ADHD, Bipolar disorder, and Personality disorders. I am experienced and passionate about working with First Responders, Military, Medical Professional, and anyone that has had traumatic experiences.
