I started working in a multicultural setting in 2017 and as a grad student I introduced yoga and mindfulness in underserved and underrepresented communities. I am an Army veteran who has worked with active duty service members with chronic pain issues, many of whom are grappling with mental, emotional, and sometimes spiritual dimensions of pain. Folks who are looking for assistance with life transitions, chronic pain and stress, PTSD, relational issues, and depression. Life difficulties are multidimensional, and I can assist with learning how to tune in to your inner resources and pave the way toward contentment.
My practice is trauma-informed mindfulness, and I have specialized in making contemplative practices understandable to service members and college students. Depending on a client's preference, I have used models like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. We set goals individually or in groups.
Whether you are looking to meet individually or in a group setting, we can decide on the best path forward together. I meet you where you are mentally and emotionally. My approach is strengths-based. I can help you with a roadmap that you can continue to use after completing your time with me. I work exclusively online and am reachable by phone and email.
