About
Seeking mental health treatment is a BIG first step towards recovery. Questions and uncertainty outweigh almost all other emotions except hope - hope that this step will help change your life, or the life of your child and family, for the better. It is important for you to find that right therapist whom you can feel comfortable with, and who can meet your mental health needs. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, young adults and parents/families who are struggling with mental illness, trauma, and behavioral or attachment issues.
I am a licensed clinical social worker with over fifteen years of experience. I earned my MSW at UCONN and trained at the Yale Child Study Center. I take a client-centered, strength-based approach, and value co-construction and transparency in my clinical work. I am well-versed in CBT, DBT, trauma-informed therapy, play therapy, and behavioral modification.
I would be more than happy to speak with you further about how I may be of to help you on your journey to mental health wellness.
