About
Do you want to cultivate self-compassion and self-acceptance? Push past self-doubt? Improve relationships and create healthy boundaries? I can help you identify and unhook from unhelpful thoughts and patterns, reconnect with your values and a sense of purpose / meaning, awaken to your own creativity, and ultimately thrive. I'm here to listen with empathy, to assist you with learning how to relax and cope with stress, and to make positive changes in your life that will bring you to your higher, ideal self. I assist clients looking for relief from depression, anxiety, ADHD, past trauma and also those in recovery from substance abuse.
I use an eclectic approach, implementing ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Strengths Perspective, Multicultural-Feminist Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and elements of Buddhist philosophy; helping you develop self-compassion and reconnect with your creativity is my passion. I am also queer allied.
My style is compassionate and supportive. I will accompany you through the process of healing and change, creating a safe refuge for your empowerment. Accepting adults (18+). Licensed to see clients via Telehealth from Virginia, Washington DC, Maryland, and Missouri. Please reach me through email first.
