I have been working in the field of behavioral health for over 20 years and supporting the emotional well being of children and families has been by primary objective. I am so excited to open my own practice, Blue Butterfly Wellness, an have an opportunity to create an inclusive, safe, and supportive space. I am a relationship based therapist and believe that parental involvement is essential for the social emotional growth of children. My ultimate goal is to help families build the skills needed to succeed.
In addition to being a nationally certified trauma focused therapist (TF-CBT), I am endorsed in the field of Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health. I employ a diverse set of therapeutic skills (child-caregiver dyadic therapy, cognitive behavioral techniques, mindfulness, and expressive therapies (play and art).
