As a Black, Queer, and Transmasc practitioner, I know how difficult it can be to find providers who are both competent and compassionate, especially when navigating life’s hardest challenges. My work is to create a space where you can bring your full self, knowing that every part of your story matters. Do you struggle with anxiety, depression, or knowing which way to go next? Are you scared and just need someone to understand why?
I specialize in healing-centered, anti-oppression work. I have spent years beside folks struggling with mental health symptoms or wanting to reduce/stop their use of drugs and/or alcohol, all in a shame-free, autonomous way. I work with those who are challenged by life's oppressions, looking for healing and restoration, both individually and collectively.
When you come to me, you know you want therapy that is not a linear path and want to engage your whole self, paying particular attention to your body as it holds a story of its own. You know the world is not as it should be, but you want to reclaim what you can and push toward the liberation you know can exist.
