I'm really glad you're here. I work with folks located throughout the triangle, the piedmont, and WNC. My favorite work to do with clients is exploring parts of yourself that you don't like, parts that might need some extra attention or healing, and overwhelming body sensations (like anxiety, anger, or depression) that really seem to hold you back. I really enjoy working with cis women and queer folx, exploring anything from relationships to coming out, attachments styles, older or newer traumas, implementing positive self talk, substance use, and gender identity.
I practice from a person centered perspective: meaning that I meet my clients where they currently are and establish therapeutic goals together. My favorite therapies are using a mix of mindfulness, CBT (talk therapy) EMDR and ART (trauma therapies), and Internal Family Systems (parts work).
My therapeutic style is conversational and relational. My energy is warm, motivational, and curious. Therapy together will be like having a deep and meaningful conversation in a very safe space: all where you and your feelings and needs are the priority of conversation.
