About
Something that I have experienced personally is the fact that looking for a counseling provider can be one of the most difficult and vulnerable things a person can do. The therapeutic relationship is a collaborative one between client and professional, so finding a provider who is the best fit for you is of the utmost importance. I believe in using empathy and a non-judgmental, non-directive approach to help my clients to alleviate their presenting problems and existential distress.
I work with teens, adults, and elders of all different kinds of cultural backgrounds, sexualities, spiritualities, and gender identities. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to assist my clients on their mental health journey.
I urge you to reach out to me to see if we are a good fit. I am currently accepting new clients and offer in-person as well as virtual sessions in most cases.
