About
If you're having trouble working through difficult emotions or experiences, feeling stuck, or living the life you wish you could, we might be a good fit for each other. I can help you learn to process and respond to your emotions in healthy ways, improve communication skills, and shift the way you see yourself and the world around you. I will help you create more balance and flexibility in the things you do and the way you live your life. I help clients with a wide range of issues including trauma, intimate partner violence, depression, anxiety, responding to anger, life transitions, and self-esteem issues.
I provide therapy based on science. I primarily utilize cognitive-behavior therapy and narrative therapy, which both have robust scientific evidence supporting their effectiveness. I like to keep up with the current literature to make sure I am continuing to provide a quality service to my clients.
Research shows the importance of having a good relationship with your therapist. You can expect me to be honest, empathetic, and genuine with you at all times. I'm always open to feedback about what's not working and what I can do differently to make sure you are getting the most out of therapy that you can, because your healing/growth is my top priority!
