Each individual comes to therapy with their own unique psychology and circumstances, and because of that I employ a flexible approach that considers the specific needs and desires of each client. I believe in cultivating a therapeutic space that fosters warmth, compassion, awareness, and honesty in order to help individuals feel more empowered in their day-to-day lives. I support adults and couples struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, relationship issues, life transitions, and self-esteem. I have experience providing psychotherapy and other services to adults experiencing psychosis, mood disorders, anxiety, and depression.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in psychodynamic theory which foregrounds an exploration of past experience, interpersonal relationships, and recurring themes and patterns in an individual's life. Psychodynamic work also focuses on creating a space conducive to true honesty and the expression of emotion.
