I am a licensed clinical psychologist in California with specializations in depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, phobias, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, interpersonal effectiveness, and social skills training. I provide individual psychotherapy for adults. I also have experience working with high-functioning adults on the spectrum. I am in-network for the listed insurances.
My approach is very integrative and I lean towards cognitive behavioral therapy but with an integrated approach. Sessions are tailored to the client's needs and can be structured, semi-structured, or free-flowing depending on the client’s preferences. I believe that therapy can be more effective when the client has a say in their treatment planning.
In addition to my clinical experiences, I am bilingual, a skill that has enabled me to build a stronger rapport with the minority population and be more sensitive to diversity. I've worked in community mental health, group practices, Veteran's Affairs hospitals, as well as in outpatient and inpatient settings.
