I have been a psychotherapist for nearly 30 years working within hospital and outpatient settings. My professional experience include working with adolescents and adult clients on an individual, group and couples basis.. I have provided therapeutic intervention with clients who have internalized disorders such as anxiety and depression. Other areas of my therapeutic work has involved assisting clients with identifying and changing negative and distorted thought processes to achieve a sense of purpose, goal setting and behavior change.
I specialize in working clients who are dealing with such issues as anxiety, depression, PTSD, career and employment transition, cross-cultural issues, sexual and relationship issues that interfere with learning, coping skills and fulfillment of one's personal goals and aspiration for a fulfilling life.
I bring over 30 years of experience in mental health and earned my Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University, the Ed.D. in Counseling from Rutgers University and I'm also a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor for Mental Health in Delaware and Florida and as a Licensed Professional Counselor in DC.
