As an African American therapist I recognize the unique and individualized process of therapy. Being heard and understood is essential to understanding what an individual wants. I focus on what the client wants and as a team we tackle those problems.

Finding the right therapist can be a difficult process. I believe that if one feels accepted and understood, we can increase our self-worth and improve the relationships in our lives. It is a difficult and at times overwhelming process, but it is not a journey you need to take on your own.
