My training in systems therapy examines how the many facets of our lives interact. In this work, we often look at how surrounding relationships and past experiences effect current beliefs and values. If emotion or mood are difficult to manage, or one is adjusting to developmental & life changes, I offer support & tools to work through this. The need for therapy may arise when making life-changing decisions around relationships, shifts in family planning, as well as employment or academic transitions. Too often, grief and loss bring up painful struggles for individuals & families. Therapy is helpful in these most challenging times.
I offer support around children/adolescent challenges & family dynamics. I work with individuals dealing with mood, anxiety, relationships, or contemplating transitions in university or career. I work with all presentations of couples: those struggling with deep relational conflict, premarital work, or couples hoping to reconnect on a deeper level.
I provide clinical supervision for therapists, and an internship program making therapy more accessible in the area. Further areas of specialization are around neurodivergence (AD/HD, ASD & EF). If one has a history of being institutionalized, or is struggling with alcohol, drug or process addiction, I offer traditional and alternative tools & supports.
